My Dad, James “Rabbit” Sanders, started tattooing in the early 1980’s in Indianapolis. He had a very long, successful career as one of the tattooing pioneers in central Indiana. Chris Taylor was 10 years old when he met my Dad through my youngest brother, and he knew right away that he wanted to become a tattoo artist. Only 5 years later, in 1992, Chris began his apprenticeship under my dad “Rabbit” at the age of 15! After tattooing for 20 years at other studios, Chris opened Ink Therapy Tattoo & Piercing Studio on October 31, 2012. As his daughter I’m grateful to be able to still be a part of the tattoo world he loved so much! And, I’m honored to work with Chris Taylor and the amazing tattoo artists and piercer at Ink Therapy.
